February 23, 2025 Service: A Lap Full of Love

Loving our enemies can feel out of our reach if we think of love merely as emotion.  But love is an intentional action of caring regardless of our feelings.  The proper prayer for an enemy is not that they may thrive in the success of their misdeeds, but that they may be filled with God’s love, and choose a new path.  And regardless of whether their hearts are changed, when we pray for them our own hearts are blessed.
