As one of the founding members, our Church continues to support the Community Center with contributions of both money and food, while serving as a major source of volunteers who staff the Center during its operating hours. Every year a portion of our money for Mission is earmarked for the Center, either for regular operating funds or for special projects such as the School Supplies program. During the year we hold periodic food drives and our members bring in bag after bag of specific food items which are particularly needed at the time. On almost any given day at least one, if not more, of our members will be found sorting clothes, bagging groceries or working on the volunteer schedule. We enjoy this opportunity to make a difference in our own neighborhood
