Music Groups

The moderately sized volunteer Adult Choir is a nicely balanced SATB ensemble with many fine musicians who read music well and sing beautifully. They rehearse 1 ½ hours each week and sing introits and anthems in each worship service, September through June. In the summer months, volunteer soloists provide special music. The young singers meet once a week on Wednesday afternoons to rehearse with a volunteer and usually sing anthems once a month in services during the school year. There is a graded handbell ministry that encourages the youngsters from the 3rd grades and up to join one of the 3 or 4 choirs that rehearse each week and play in church once a month. The older ringers ring concerts and programs in the community. We also have a barbershop quartet, the Four Hymns and Hyrs.
