Disciple: Dedicated, Inspired, Servant, Convinced , INFORMED DedicatedInspired Servant Convinced Informed: I have listened to the material provided by the leadership and I vote “Yes”! P L E If you were in church on March 30th, you saw the DVD supporting the Capital Campaign. The applause that followed its showing attests to the enthusiasm of the Informed Members who have voted “Yes” with their hearts and their checkbooks. Many have agreed to Commit to the Vision and turn Vision into Reality: are you one of them? The Session spent a considerable amount of time working on the question, “How do we turn a 19th Century Church into a 21st Century Congregation with the desire and ability to change lives. If you have studied the plans for the 2008 addition to the Education Building, you will see that the answer has been found. The new addition will have something for everyone: Worship & Music, Christian Education, and Mission & Outreach. We will be able to meet the needs of our Sunday School students as well as our Music Program. We will provide a welcoming environment to all who attend worship: 50-year members, confirmands and newcomers who have just arrived in our community. Beginning next week, committed members of the congregation will be reaching out to all, touching base on the status of your decision-making. If you haven’t already, will you fill out your Commitment Card and return it to the church office as soon as possible? If you have already voted “Yes,” the Capital Campaign Committee says “Thank You.” |
