For over 100 years the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah has held an annual Rummage Sale indoors and outdoors at the 31 Bedford Road location.
This year’s sale begins Monday, May 1 and concludes Saturday, May 6. Items in good condition are gladly accepted from the community on Sunday, April 30, from noon to 9 p.m. and Monday, May 1, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The outdoor sale runs Monday through Friday, May 1 – May 5, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6, items are one-half price until closing at noon. Inside sales run Thursday and Friday, May 4 and 5, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon. The Bake sale runs Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Prices are reasonable and sales on the lawn include sporting equipment, toys, tools, small appliances, and lots of miscellaneous items. Tents are set up for furniture and other better quality items. Items that cannot be accepted are treadmills, sofa beds, tires, computers, large appliances, mattresses, BBQ’s, infant car seats, Reader’s Digest condensed books, encyclopedias and used cans of paint.
